Slept late, cleaned up my cat’s mess (I won’t get into that…), doing homework, still feeling exhausted. I wish every day was a weekend.

Forty minutes from Anaheim!!!

today has been crazy. woke up, met lindsay for coffee at one. at 1:30pm, lindsay came with me in my mom’s car to go get my car at my house, so she could drive one of the cars to meet me at costco to get my flat tire fixed. dropped off that car, took lindsay to her car, drove to work. after work, drive home. lindsay takes me to pick up my car. clean out my car, throw some stuff in like clothes, blanket, laptop. feed kitty. give lindsay my house key. drive to the city to get jaqui. drive to anaheim!!

Is it bad that all I want to do is eat popsicles and watch movies?

Sweat is literally dripping off my face right now. No matter that I’m inside a house; on the contrary, I think I’d be better off outside in the shade. All I can about right now is how much I would like to be draped across an air conditioner, shivering.

I got coffee today at this coffee shop I really like, where the employees are overly caffeinated and crazy. I love it. Too bad it’s too hot for me to even feel the caffeine, because I’m fairly certain that I sweat it out already.

I need to remember to get a simple notebook after work. One of my goals is to keep one with me at all times, so I can write down thoughts, ideas, scribbles… anything. I’m pretty excited about doing that, because I never remember what I was thinking after I’ve thought it.

The past day has been very unsettling. I have my foot on top of a puppy’s foot, and it’s soothing to feel her little furry paws against my stupid human feet. When I was miserable yesterday, she came over and sat with me. Animals are so goddamn intuitive.
